IMCES has an immediate opening for a staff attorney with at least one year of post-graduate experience in the following areas: Family Law, Domestic Violence, Immigration, civil disputes, as well as litigation and general practice experience,
to provide legal services and advocacy for diverse clients with health and mental health challenges. Qualifications include: licensed in California, exposure and experience working with underserved populations, including victims of domestic violence and immigration matters, shared mission with our organization (see our About Us webpage), as well as excellent research and writing skills.
Please note that the ability to manage highly stressful situations is a prerequisite for this position, as stress is inherent in working with individuals with mental health and emotional conditions.
